<p>In the world of sound, mediation is understood in a radically acoustic and experience-oriented way. As an interactive cultural and meeting place for the world of sound and natural tone music, the house uses shared sounding and listening as a universal language to break down barriers and engage people of all ages in conversation organically.</p> <p>Sound as a Bridge for Communication: The focus is on shared experiences. Whether exploring vibrations, trying out musical instruments, or inventing your own rhythms – sound creates a natural, informal space for exchange.</p> <p>Encounter through targeted formats: Intergenerational dialogue is actively promoted through regular courses, sound festivals, and shared experiences on the sound path. For example, seniors meet families and young adults during joint music-making. These musical encounters bring together people who would otherwise never meet in their daily lives.</p> <p>Learning space without performance pressure: In the school setting, the physical, historical, and social dimensions of sound and tradition are conveyed through collaborative activities. The principle is: trying things out, making mistakes, and starting over are allowed – completely without pressure or grade stress.</p> <p>Active Co-creation: The mediation concept is participatory. Through free experimentation with the various sound installations and instruments, visitors become active participants themselves and actively shape the soundscape. Inclusion, Participation, and Feel-Good Factor: The sound world sees itself as an open, sensory space that communicates on an equal footing and consistently minimizes inhibitions.</p> <p>Support instead of frontal teaching: No musical training or prior knowledge is required to attend. The local team acts as active support: they introduce the phenomena, guide small sound experiments, and create orientation for all generations.</p> <p>Breaking down inhibitions: The mediation is not hierarchical, from top to bottom. The shared experience, the collective wonder at unexpected resonances, and the collective generation of vibrations release trust and foster a strong sense of community.</p>
