The Kunstmuseum Bern was founded in 1849 and is one of the oldest art museums in Switzerland. It houses an internationally important collection of works from the late Middle Ages to the present day and regularly presents changing exhibitions.

Regular admission for adults is CHF 24. Children under the age of 16 can visit the museum free of charge. Information on possible discounts can be found on the museum's website. Holders of the Swiss Museum Pass can visit the museum free of charge.
